Set up a Backup System
How important is your data? If your Mac computer suddenly develops a fault which destroys all your data, how much of a disaster would that be for you? You'd lose all your family photos, important documents, and much more.
Mac computers come with built-in software to keep backups of your data. This software is called Time Machine and is so-called because it effectively allows you to go back in time to a point when your data was ok and then bring that data back to the present day. It's phenomenally powerful.
All it requires is for you to invest in an external hard disc (around £40-£80) - we can advise which are the best ones to get. We can then set up your Mac to start carrying out automatic Time Machine backups so you can just forget about it, knowing that in case of disaster, you are covered.
